Unless you take the time to label and organize all your pictures (and I’ll freely admit that I hardly ever do that), chances are it can be pretty hard to find that photo you just know is hidden somewhere deep inside your computer.
The “Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft” in Berlin, Germany, “old europe”, has now published an improved version of their free image sorting tool which goes by the germane name “ImageSorter v2″:
We are proud to present the current version of the ImageSorter 2.0. The software profits from a greatly improved stability and run-time performance. Furthermore quite a few suggestions made in the forum have been included. See the change log for a detailed list of changes.
The center for “human-machine-communication” states that their search and sorting algorithms are taking a new approach, different from the usual content based search - ImageSorter sorts images by the similarity of their color layouts. You can download the free ImageSorter v2 software here.
