Wednesday, March 10th, 2010More and more parents are giving cameras to their children as birthday and Christmas presents according to findings of a recent survey. Exactly why is open to debate. It could be viewed as a way for parents to encourage more creativity in their children or vice versa, that children are having more of an idea to become creative.
The arts are a very hard field to break into professionally. It takes some people many years of part-time work to be able to establish themselves as a full time creative professional. So, it could be good that children are starting early and getting a head start.
The most popular choice of cameras for young children are basic digital cameras, whereas teenagers are prefering the flexability of more professional digital and analogue SLR cameras.
